Champage Towers - they don't look like they're going anywhere, here's your how to guide

A champagne tower brings an extra layer of elegance and fun to your special event, not to mention the photos! (to die for).

They might look a little intimidating but if you aren't going for a super high tower you might be surpised to learn you can set it up yourself if you're game!

At Goldie Bloom Events, we offer a few different options when it comes to champagne towers (check out our bookings page under glassware), our most popular options are the full DIY or the full set up by Goldie. When DIY-ing there are some basic instructions to follow.

Set up the plinth and drip tray where you intend your tower to be built.

Make sure you have the right amount of coupes. You'll need 30 in total for a 4 tier tower. 16 coupes at the base, 9 on the 2nd tier, 4 on the third tier, and 1 coupe on top. It's important to ensure your coupes are all the same as differing heights will mean a very unstable tower (not good news).

You might like to add an extra touch to your tower by using some thin ribbon tied in bows around the stem of a few coupes, if you are planning on doing this just make sure you add the ribbon before you start building the tower.

Start by creating a square with the coupes, making sure the glasses are touching. Build the next level by placing the bottom of each coupe directly on the empty space created by the coupes below. As the tower rises the squares of the coupes will get smaller. Simple as that!

Now for the fun part! Pop open your bubbly & slowly pour it into the coupe at the top of the tower. Champagne will overflow into the coupes below,  filling each coupe.

One bottle of champagne will fill approximately 5 coupes so you’ll need approximately 6 bottle of champers. Enjoy x
